A woman escaped death narrowly on Saturday when a car she was driving rammed into the iron sheets structure around the proposed students center. Dennis Mureithi an eyewitness told us that the woman could have been a learner and that she had been given the car to drive from the procurement department before she lost control and hit the structure. This happens in the wake when students have complained about careless and fast driving on the newly completed "Ongata highway".

The newly elected chairperson to CUSA Omulloh Augo in one of his campaigns had promised to look into the matter and ensure that bumps and road furniture was erected along the road.
